Igor Ilyin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of LLP "KMG PetroChem" (a subsidiary of JSC NC "KazMunayGas"), reports IA "NewTimes.kz".

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "KazMunayGas", Dastan Abdugafarov, introduced the new leader to the company's staff.

Prior to his appointment, I. Ilyin held the position of Chairman of the Board of LLP "Karabatan Utility Solutions". Throughout the years, he has served in leadership roles at JSC "CAEК", JSC "Samruk-Energo", and LLP "Research Center of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas".

In 2012, he completed an internship and subsequently began his career at Worley Parsons—a global leader in engineering services, design, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the industry.

He graduated from the Kazakh-British Technical University with a degree in "Automation and Control".

It is noteworthy that Igor Ilyin is the son of the former Minister of Emergency Situations, Yuri Ilyin.
