The power plant in Ridder is operating normally. This was announced by the city mayor, Duman Rakhmetkaliev, as reported by IA "NewTimes.kz".

According to the mayor of Ridder, after the explosion of the dust-air mixture in the area of the belt conveyor, the supply of coal has already been resumed, and the heating in the networks is gradually increasing.

“The power plant is functioning as usual. The supply of coal has been fully restored. The six injured employees of the station are receiving all necessary medical assistance. The situation is under control,” the mayor stated.

He thanked the residents for their understanding and patience.

It is worth noting that this morning, an explosion of the dust-gas mixture occurred at the power plant in Ridder. As a result of the explosion, six people were injured. Medical professionals assess the condition of the injured as stable but serious. Three of the injured have been transported to Ust-Kamenogorsk.
