In Atyrau, emergency responders helped a young boy free his finger from a washer, reports IA "NewTimes.kz," citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A 5-year-old boy had inserted his finger into a metal washer and was unable to remove it. The family sought assistance at the trauma department of the regional children's hospital, but the doctors called for rescuers.
“The Ministry of Emergency Situations staff removed the washer using emergency rescue tools known as ‘cutters,’ carefully cutting through the metal part. The rescue operation concluded successfully, and the boy only experienced a fright, requiring no medical assistance,” the agency reported.
