Kostanay. December 10. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - A factory for the production of 10 thousand tons of cheese products will be launched in the Kostanay region, reports the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By the end of the year, a cheese production plant with an annual capacity of 10 thousand tons will be commissioned," the ministry informed.
It is noted that the project cost 7.2 billion tenge.
Additionally, by 2027, a project for deep grain processing will be implemented in the region.
Processing 415 thousand tons of grain per year will enable the production of gluten, starch, amino acids, bioethanol, and more. The project investment is 70 billion tenge," the agency clarified.
Overall, the Ministry of Agriculture noted that by 2027, 96 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the Kostanay region, including 32 in livestock, 47 in crop production, and 17 in agricultural product processing. The total investment amount will reach 232 billion tenge. Additionally, more than 2,000 new jobs will be created.
Earlier, in the Zhambyl region, construction began on a factory for the production of wind turbine components.
