The Kazakh Agency for International Development "KazAID" organized a two-day seminar titled "Introduction to Kaizen," aimed at familiarizing participants with the Japanese management method.
Kaizen is one of the fundamental management concepts in Japan, centered on the continuous improvement of all production processes. Key elements of the Kaizen concept include teamwork, personal discipline, maintaining morale through motivation, and brainstorming groups for idea exchange among employees at various levels.
A speaker from Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nurmukhanov, a consultant on lean manufacturing and an expert on the Toyota Production System from the National Volunteer Network, shared his experience. The seminar provided valuable insights for representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, promoted sustainable development in the region, and created a platform for experience sharing with entrepreneurs from Central Asia.
This seminar was conducted free of charge for participants, thanks to support from KazAID and JICA.
The seminar was organized by KazAID in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), with support from the Kazakhstan-Japan Human Resource Development Center (KJC) and the Uzbekistan-Japan Human Resource Development Center (UJC).
