As part of the state program "Business Roadmap 2025," approximately 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises have received support totaling 41.6 billion tenge. Of this amount, 31.4 billion tenge was allocated to 634 entrepreneurs through interest rate subsidies, while projects from 318 entrepreneurs received guarantees amounting to 10.2 billion tenge. This information was shared by the akim of the Atyrau region, Serik Shapkenov, at a press conference held at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, the national project "Aul Amanaty," aimed at improving the welfare of the rural population, has enabled the implementation of unique ideas from SMEs in the region. This year, 761 million tenge has been allocated from the regional budget for these purposes, with 83 projects currently underway.
"These projects contribute to the creation of new jobs in rural areas, aimed at increasing residents' incomes and strengthening the region's economy. Fifty projects are focused on livestock development, thirty on supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and three on advancing agriculture. Furthermore, as a result of the implementation of three major investment projects this year, 90 new jobs have been created," Serik Shapkenov
In the coming year, it is planned to implement four new investment projects with a total cost of 26.2 billion tenge. This will lead to the creation of an additional 187 jobs.
