Public procurement and its significance in the economic development of Kazakhstan.

This time, the meeting took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk . The Vice Minister of Finance Dauren Kenbeil and the Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Darkhan Sapanov discussed the forms of support for domestic producers through public procurement. Representatives from the business community of the East Kazakhstan region and the Abai region, employees of government agencies, budget organizations, SMEs, and representatives of the regional NPP "Atameken" participated in the event.

Vice Minister of Finance Dauren Kenbeil emphasized that the Head of State, in his address to the people of Kazakhstan, instructed to stimulate and support the quality development of domestic businesses. The law on public procurement is intended to serve as a tool for achieving this goal.

Additionally, to support domestic producers, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved a separate list of goods, works, and services that will be procured exclusively from small and medium-sized enterprises.

Several innovations in the law are aimed at simplifying the procurement process, which will allow for expedited procedures . Furthermore, to eliminate instances of inflated requirements set by customers, it is planned to maintain the existing documentary control. At the same time, the right to cancel procurement results by the authorized body will be excluded.

Such meetings are a vital part of the Ministry of Finance's strategy to strengthen collaboration with the business community and ensure accessible information for all interested parties. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to foster a constructive dialogue with entrepreneurs, representatives of large businesses, and public associations to collectively address issues and enhance the efficiency of the public procurement system, thereby advancing the economy of Kazakhstan.
