"Path to Business": The Anti-Corruption Agency has safeguarded the rights of 47,000 entrepreneurs.

The event also saw participation from authorized representatives and local government agencies, professional business associations, and IT companies.

As part of the implementation of the "Businesske zhol" project, the Anti-Corruption Service, in collaboration with the NPP "Atameken," has protected the rights of 25,000 entrepreneurs over just 11 months this year (with a total of 47,000 since the project's inception, covering the years 2022-2024).

In the past two years (2023-2024), the Anti-Corruption Service has registered 7 criminal cases related to obstruction of lawful entrepreneurial activities (Article 365 of the Criminal Code) and 53 administrative offenses concerning interference in business (Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Businesses primarily complain about the actions of government agencies regarding non-payment by customers for delivered goods, the unjustified restrictions imposed by tax authorities on accounts, and the unreasonable refusals by local executive bodies to grant land, permits, and subsidies.

Analysis has shown that these issues stem from insufficient automation of business processes. Therefore, the meeting discussed measures being taken by authorized government agencies to address identified corruption risks.

The business community was introduced to the opportunities offered by the Unified Business Support Portal "BGOV," the Geoportal of the State Urban Planning Cadastre, the State Information System for Subsidization, the information systems eQurylys.kz, the "Single Window for Procurement," and others.

Additionally, IT companies showcased their developments aimed at simplifying business operations.

During the discussions, entrepreneurs raised several problematic issues regarding the shortcomings in the functionalities of certain information systems.

Overall, the event facilitated the establishment of a dialogue between the business sector, the government, and the IT sector.

Following the meeting, a Roadmap will be developed to eliminate corruption risks in the specified areas.
